Family Resources for the Teenager with Down Syndrome

The teenage years are times of change and growth for your loved one with Down syndrome. As with any typical child, it's a time for them to spread their wings and expand their independence.

DSA has exciting and engaging programming that allows your child or loved one to navigate those changes safely and learn valuable tools and resources that will carry them into adulthood.

Be sure to sign up for programming like Down to Box, a boxing class just for individuals with Down syndrome, Improvaneers, where individuals with Down syndrome build confidence through acting, Circles to learn about healthy relationships and boundaries, and the crowd-favorite, Young Adult Series, where teens meet with skilled mentors and volunteers (without their parents!) to focus on relationships, exercise, and fun!
